The Affair is a short kinetic novel using a story that I wrote for a short story challenge back in 2008 by PyTom, the creator of the Ren'Py visual novel engine. The challenge was to write a story with generic backgrounds and at least two female characters. My inspiration for this story comes from mid-nineties to 2000s romantic comedy anime such as Ranma 1/2, Love Hina and Onegai Twins.
