One Week of Eternity is a 5-chapter short story that was first published in volume #1 of the Baka-Trio Webzine managed by the founding members of The Teacup. It was featured monthly in the fiction portion of the webzine until the story ended by the fifth chapter and the sixth volume of the zine (I missed releasing a chapter for one month.) It has also been uploaded to my fictionpress.net account.
The story is told from the point-of-view of Alyssa Cruz, an 11 year old girl who is suddenly diagonosed with a terminal illness from which the doctors estimate she would have approximately one week left to live. The story follows Alyssa's daily life with her friends and family. One Week of Eternity explores Alyssa's external and internal struggles as she copes with the reality of death just as she has barely begun to take her first steps into adulthood.
There are two possible endings for this game. The second ending was written specifically for the Visual Novel version of One Week of Eternity.
