So You Think You Want To Make A VN is a short parody visual novel piece that was inspired by a youtube video that was linked by Sake-Bento of Sakevisual on Twitter. In the same vein as the "So You Think You Want To..." videos, the game features an interview by a veteran English Visual Novel (EVN) developer of a newbie to the VN creation community. Members of the EVN community will see many familiar allusions to the community in general as well as some of its most prominent members.Take note that everything is made for light-hearted fun and SYTYWTMAVN is not intended to be taken seriously nor to alienate prospective visual novel developers... even if there is some tinge of truth to the story.
The second half of the story was written by mikey of ATP projects.
